Kanz Philosophia: A Journal for Islamic Philosophy and Mysticism is an international peer-reviewed journal published by Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Sadra, Jakarta, in collaboration with the Asosiasi Aqidah dan Filsafat Islam (ASAFI). The journal is dedicated to advancing scholarship in philosophy, Islamic philosophy, and mysticism through the publication of original research articles and scholarly reviews. It serves as an international forum for critical, comparative, and cross-cultural studies that examine philosophical traditions, ideas, and methods across Islamic, Eastern, and Western intellectual heritages.

Rooted in the rich legacy of Islamic philosophy and Sufism, Kanz Philosophia encourages rigorous philosophical inquiry into enduring and contemporary intellectual, ethical, cultural, and civilizational questions. The journal fosters dialogue between Islamic and global philosophical traditions, promoting innovative perspectives that deepen philosophical understanding and advance philosophical scholarship in an increasingly interconnected world.

The journal has published contributions from scholars affiliated with institutions in Australia, Canada, Egypt, Germany, India, Indonesia, Iran, Libya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tunisia, Türkiye, the United States, and Yemen, reflecting an increasingly diverse international authorship across Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania. Through this international scholarly network, Kanz Philosophia promotes the exchange of philosophical ideas and advances global scholarship in philosophy, Islamic philosophy, mysticism, and cross-cultural philosophical inquiry.

Based on the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Number 295/C/C3/KPT/2026, dated January 2, 2026, concerning the Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals for the 2025 Period II, Kanz Philosophia: A Journal for Islamic Philosophy and Mysticism has been upgraded from SINTA 3 to SINTA 1. The journal is published twice a year, in June and December. 

As of Vol. 9 No. 1, June 2023, Kanz Philosophia: A Journal for Islamic Philosophy and Mysticism has adopted the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) and now accepts and publishes only articles written in English.
