Kanz Philosophia: A Journal for Islamic Philosophy and Mysticism is an academic journal published by Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Sadra. The journal provides a scholarly platform for critical and theoretical studies in philosophy and mysticism, with particular attention to Islamic intellectual traditions and their engagement with classical and contemporary philosophical discourses. The journal welcomes high-quality manuscripts that employ philosophical, mystical, or theoretical approaches, encouraging contributions from diverse academic traditions, both Eastern and Western, to foster global scholarly exchange.
Scope
The journal focuses on original research and current issues related to philosophy and mysticism. It welcomes contributions addressing the following general topics:
• Islamic philosophy and philosophical theology;
• Classical and contemporary Sufism (theoretical and practical);
• Comparative philosophy and mysticism;
• Philosophy of religion, ethics, culture, and society;
• Studies of philosophical and Sufi thinkers and texts; and
• Epistemological, ontological, and metaphysical inquiries.
Contributions from related disciplines are welcome, provided that the discussion is grounded in philosophical or mystical perspectives, theories, or figures.
